Exploring, Learning, Practicing Business Architecture

Presentation:
Business architecture models an organization to show strategic concerns of key stakeholders are met. When done right and done well, it provides a blueprint that supports ongoing business transformation effort. The discipline of business architecture applies analytical thinking and architecture principles at the enterprise level. Experienced in many aspects of business analysis, Li will share with you her recent work and learning in business architecture:

- How to approach business architecture?
- What are essential skills and techniques?
Presenter:
Li Yang, CBAP, is the principle and owner of iACT Consulting Ltd., which offers business analysis and project management services. Li has over 25 years of experience in both China and Canada in marketing and sales, project management, and more recently, her discovered passion for business analysis. By facilitating the understanding between diverse business users and information technology specialists, Li provides value to her clients. As a trusted advisor, Li draws from her practical industry knowledge in health care, insurance, banking, transportation, call centre, government, and non-profit organizations. For six years, Li was the Deputy Regional Director of IIBA Americas Western Region. Prior to that, she served on IIBA Vancouver Chapter board and was the past president. Li is an online instructor of the Business Analysis Certificate program at University of British Columbia.
