Portland Metro Chapter of the IIBA is made up of 5 officers, President, VP of Marketing & Communications, VP of Professional Development, Secretary & Treasurer. Each officer serves a 2 year term with staggered positions coming up for election every year.

President

Jennifer Colburn

Jennifer Colburn has been practicing business analysis since before the turn of the millenium, working for many organizations including small startups, consulting firms and a Fortune 500 company, and spanning many industries. She lives in Portland, Oregon and is a member of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) and is a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).  She is currently serving as the President of the Portland Metro IIBA Chapter, after spending a couple years as the Treasurer. Jennifer served on the Board of the Louisville IIBA Chapter and was a member of the IIBA Competency Model Committee. She enjoys speaking about the importance of the role of the Business Analyst and in her spare time enjoys traveling and hiking.

Gabe Vaught

Gabe Vaught is a senior Business Systems Analyst and Product Owner with almost 9 years of experience in the logistics industry and almost 20 in the IT industry at large. He graduated from the University of Portland with a BS in Operations and Technology Management and his projects have focused or relied heavily on data modeling, analytics, statistical process analysis and supply chain management. Gabe also applies his analytical background to an 18-year career in the US Army Reserves.While being an IIBA member, Gabe is pursuing obtaining his CBAP certification. In his free time, he is a passionate Outrigger Canoeist, and coach.

Tim Roby

Tim Roby is an Enterprise Business Analyst with almost 15 years of experience in public sector Business Analysis and project work. He is proud to say that he was a Lead BA for the Oregon DMV Service Transformation Program, with successful core business system implementation in July of 2020. He graduated from Corban University with a BS in Business Management. Tim began his BA career in the US Army Reserves, where he was a Civil Affairs linguist for 9 years. While being an IIBA member, Tim is also CBAP certified. In his free time, he enjoys spending time in nature with his wife and kids.

Stacy Urban

Stacy is a Business Analyst and Technical Writer.  She is a graduate of the University of Portland with a major in Operations and Technology Management.  Stacy has worked in Health, Finance, Government, and Energy as a Business Analyst Consultant. She has just celebrated 6 years working as Business Analyst for the Oregon Health Authority in the Office of Health IT and Analytics Infrastructure.

Brennan List

Brennan has 6 years experience as a Business Analyst and BI Developer. He has a BS in Sports Business from Northern Kentucky University and a MS in Computer Information Systems from Colorado State University. Brennan is a member of the IIBA and is also AAC certified. Brennan is passionate about personal finance, playing guitar, attending concerts, Cincinnati sports teams, and Pedalpalooza bike events around Portland in the summer.
