Lean Coffee (Hybrid): Tools Time with Tim
Join us virtually or in person for our January IIBA Portland Metro Chapter Event Hybrid Edition
We aim to provide attendees with a sense of comfort, choice and control in an environment conducive to listening and engagement. You have the option to attend in person or virtually.
We recognize the need to connect and engage both in-person and virtual audiences and have purchased equipment to help serve as a digital bridge, we will test it and plan to be flexible should issues arise. The fee for non-members will increase to $10 to defer the cost of the equipment for virtual attendees and room rental for those attending in person.
Presentation
We heard you! During our retro, many of you wanted more discussion about the tools we use. Since there are so many tools, we will use the Lean Coffee concept to identify all the possible tools topics, vote on them, and begin discussing the most popular topic, until the group determines it's time to move on to the next topic.
Since we are hybrid, we will be using Metro Retro as our virtual Kanban board. You can create a free account to participate. If you plan to be in person for this event it is very important that you bring your own device for participation on Metro Retro (phones are typically too small of a screen to be practical).
Not familiar with Lean Coffee? It is an activity that provides a structure for discussion of multiple topics. Participants build an agenda of items to discuss, prioritize the agenda, and then work through each topic one by one. This style of democratic process keeps the activity productive and engaging for participants.
